Nigerian Cellular Company, a New Manchester United Sponsor

Lagos – Manchester United have a new sponsor. It is a Nigerian cellular company Globacom  who became the new sponsor for the Last year Premier League champions.

Yes, in the agreement during the five-year contract between Globacom with The Red Devils also mentioned, United will give permission to the players from Nigeria, Ghana and Benin to train in Old Trafford football academy.

"At Globacom, we are consistently help in developing the talents of young soccer players in African countries," explained Executive Group Globacom Paddy Adenuga, told to the Nigerian newspaper, Thisday.

"This new agreement with one of the famous teams in world football, no doubt provide opportunities to children in Nigeria, Ghana and the Republic Benin to be a star," he continued.

According to the plan, this agreement will be announced at Old Trafford, next Friday. This announcement will also involve the Red Devils fans in Nigeria, Ghana and Benin which are going to watch Edwin van der Sar performances versus chelsea (hmr)
