Woking – Jenson Button’s success as a world champion this season harvesting a lot of compliment. McLaren is no exception which is now rumored busy planning to recruit Brawn GP racer to their headquarters in Woking, England.
Rumor to land Button into McLaren exhaled a leading UK media like The Sun and Daily Mail. Both these media are generally believed if McLaren is planning to make duet of two British champions, Hamilton and Button next season.
Friday edition of the Daily Mail (23/10/2009) says that McLaren’s sponsors, Vodafone will welcome the opportunity to get two great drivers. Furthermore, a source who worked at the company adds," Every team must be really hoping to have two world champions in their team. "
The other source confirmed The Sun also provides not much different answer, "Vodafone will be very pleased to hear this idea."
McLaren seems not dismiss these discourses. Team boss Martin Whitmarsh admitted if his team is looking for talented drivers to replace Heikki Kovalainen who considered not maximum this season .
"We’ve talked to several drivers. But this is not good if I reveal anything more than this. In essence, we were trying to get the two best drivers, as we always do," said Whitmarsh.
If Mc Laren seriously planning to hire Button, then The Silver Arrows (Mc Laren nickname) are likely to struggle. The reason, both Button and team Brawn GP boss Ross Brawn admitted would continue to maintain cooperation, next season.
